Donetsk, Oct 31 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations on Thursday fired an anti-tank guided missile at an ambulance of the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia en route to the Belaya Kamenka village in the south of the Republic, wounding the driver and a paramedic, the DPR People’s Militia press service reported.

“Today, bandits from 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade in the Novogrigorovka settlement area, acting on direct order of their chief (Yevgeny) Korostelyov, fired an anti-tank guided missile at an ambulance driving towards the Belaya Kamenka village to help a sick child,” the report said.

The driver and the paramedic were wounded in the missile explosion. The men were taken to hospital. “The ambulance had all the necessary markings including the red cross; the criminals couldn’t but know it,” the People’s Militia said.

Belaya Kamenka often comes under Ukrainian forces fire; a regular ambulance was unable to reach the settlement, so the doctors asked the militia to help.*jk
