Donetsk, Jan 16 – DAN. Ukrainian forces fired 397 artillery and mortar rounds at western outskirts of Donetsk, Yasinovataya suburbs, Gorlovka and villages in DPR south in the past 24 hours, a Republic’s defense source told Donetsk News Agency.
“The number of strikes during the night and previous evening was up. Ukrainian side 397 152mm and 122mm artillery rounds and 82mm and 120mm mortar rounds,” the source said.
Kiev forces targeted Aleksandrovka west of Donetsk, Zaitsevo, Dolomitnoye, Shirokaya Balka, Zheleznaya Balka, Shakhta Gagarina, Golmovskiy outside Gorlovka, Krutaya Balka outside Yasinovataya, Spartak and Zabichevo villages in Yasinovatskiy district, Sakhanka in Novoazovskiy district in DPR south.
Ukrainian armed forces also used IFV cannons and grenade launchers.
Earlier reports said a school building and PTL in Yasinovataya, and seven residential houses in Gorlovka were damaged by Ukrainian forces shelling. Two civilians were injured in Dolomitnoye.*ot
