Donetsk, Jan 18 - DAN. A Spartak village area in the northern outskirts of Donetsk has come under mortar fire from Ukrainian armed formations, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.

Fire was delivered from the Opytnoye settlement area at 16:25, the JCCC said. The enemy used 120mm mortars expending six rounds. No casualties or damage were immediately reported.

The package of tighter ceasefire control measures has been formally in effect in Donbass since July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of any weapons, deployment of heavy armaments in and around settlements, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicle flights.*jk
