Donetsk, Apr 6 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations opened fire at the Vasilyevka village outside Yasinovataya where a key Donbass water supply facility is located, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.
Fire was delivered from the Kamenka settlement at 16:40. The enemy expended 30 BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicle cannon rounds. It is the fifth strike delivered by Kiev army units at the Republic on Tuesday. Previously, Ukrainian forces fired at the Donetsk area and the Kominternovo and Vedesnkoye villages in the south of the country.
Vasilyevka is located in the DPR some 1.5 kilometres from the contact line. It accommodates the Yuzhnodonbasskiy duct's first level pumping station, a key Donbass water supply facility servicing residents on both sides of the contact line.*jk
