Donetsk, Mar 2 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations opened fire at the Donetsk People’s Republic twice over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.

“Ukrainian armed formations violated the indefinite ceasefire twice over the past 24 hours expending 16 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.

The enemy used 120mm mortars to deliver strikes  at the areas of the Signalnoye and Staromikhailovka settlements on the Donetsk axis. The shelling caused power outages in Signalnoye and Luganskoye and damage to houses and utility sheds at eight addresses in Signalnoye, the JCCC said.

In the previous reporting period, Kiev forces opened fire at the DPR four times.

The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
