Donetsk, Apr 8 - DAN. Kiev army units have violated the ceasefire six times over the past 24 hours, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Thursday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the indefinite ceasefire six times expending 75 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.
Strikes were delivered at the areas of the Oktyabrsky and Luganskoye settlements and the Vesyoloye village on the Donetsk axis, and the outskirts of the Leninskoye and Kominternovo villages on the Mariupol axis. The enemy used 120mm mortars, anti-aircraft guns and AGS grenade launchers, the JCCC said.
On Wednesday, the frontage of the house at 15 Akhmatova Street in Kominternovo was damaged in shelling by Ukrainian forces.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian troops opened fire at DPR areas eight times expending nearly 90 rounds of ammunition.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
