Donetsk, Aug 10 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire on the contact line with the Donetsk People’s Republic four times over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire four times expending 35 rounds of ammunition (the amount of expended ammunition of caliber up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics - eds Donetsk News Agency),” the report said.
Fire was delivered at the Shakhta Trudovskaya settlement area on the Donetsk axis, the Bairak settlement on the Gorlovka axis and the outskirts of the Bezymennoye and Leninskoye villages on the Mariupol axis. The enemy used RPG, AGS and SPG grenade launchers and small arms.
On Monday, a summer kitchen in Shakhta Trudovskaya in western Donetsk was damaged in a Ukrainian army strike. No civilian casualties were reported.
Ukraine ignored the attempts to use the coordination mechanism in order to quickly establish a local ceasefire after each fact of truce violation, the DPR Office said.
It added that it had recorded three ceasefire violations by Ukrainian forces in the previous reporting period.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures has been in effect in Donbass since July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicle flights.*jk
