Donetsk, Dec 21 – DAN. Ukrainian army opened fire on north-western Gorlovka on Monday evening, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.

The fire originated from Ukrainian-controlled Dzerzhinks at 3.30 p.m.; 12 mortar rounds of 120 mm caliber and 8 rounds of 82 mm caliber were fired.

Ukrainian armed forces violated the ceasefire three times in the past 24 hours, targeting Shakhta Gagarina west of Gorlovka in particular.

The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”. The package came into effect on July 27. *ot
