Donetsk, Oct 20 — DAN. Kiev army units have fired 127 artillery rounds including rocket projectiles at the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, said military officers.
Ukrainian gunmen used multiple rocket launchers, 152mm artillery and 155mm artillery pieces supplied by NATO countries. Strikes were delivered at residential neighborhoods of Donetsk, Gorlovka, Makeyevka and Yasinovataya. Overall, 36 artillery attacks were recorded.
A civilian was injured in the Mineralnoye settlement and more than 2,100 customers were left without electricity in Alexandrovka. Two apartment buildings were damaged in Donetsk’s Kuibyshevsky district, the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC) reported.
The regional Emergency Situations Ministry said that artillery fire had damaged two single-family homes in the Puteprovod settlement and and three summer houses in a Makeyevka gardening cooperative.
Over the past 24 hours, Kiev artillery fire intensity has increased by more than two times from the previous reporting period when about 50 rounds of ammunition were fired at the Republic.*jk
