Donetsk, Aug 22 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire seven times over the past 24 hours, head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov said on Thursday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire seven times expending 11 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.

Fire was delivered at the Alexandrovka neighbourhood in the outskirts of Donetsk, Yasinovataya and its neighbourhood Krutaya Balka, Dokuchayevsk, and the Leninskoye and Belaya Kamenka villages in southern DPR. The enemy used 82mm mortars and high calibre small arms, he added.

The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire six times firing 123 rounds at DPR frontlines areas.*jk
