Donetsk, Jul 22 - DAN. Ukrainian forces fired 24 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Monday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire seven times expending 24 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.

Strikes were delivered at the Mikhailovka and Gagarin Colliery neighbourhoods in Gorlovka, the Verkhnetoretskoye township, Vasilyevka, and the Novaya Tavriya and Leninskoye villages in southern DPR, the JCCC added.

The enemy used grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

A new comprehensive, lasting and indefinite ceasefire came into force in Donbass at 00:01 on July 21. The truce was agreed at the the Contact Group talks in Minsk on July 17. *jk*pp
