Donetsk, Feb 21 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 84 times over the past week, Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Friday.
“Over the past week, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 84 times; weapons banned by the Minsk accords were used to deliver strikes,” Basurin said. “The enemy fired 106 mortar rounds, 236 grenades and 52 infantry fighting vehicle cannon rounds at 22 DPR settlements and also aggressively delivered small arms and sniper fire.”
In the designated period, a Trudovskaya Colliery resident was wounded, and damage was caused to houses in Donets, the Staromikhailovka, Zaitsevo and Dolomitnoye settlements and the Signalnoye and Yasnoye village, he said.
Earlier reports said that over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations fired 65 rounds of ammunition at DPR settlements in 16 ceasefire violations.*jk
