Donetsk, Apr 2 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 22 times over the past 24 hours firing more than 200 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Thursday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 22 times expending 213 rounds of ammunition,” the JCCC said. “The enemy used howitzers, missile systems, tank guns, heavy mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, machine guns and small arms.”
The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.
Strikes were delivered at the following settlements on the Donetsk, Gorlovka and Mariupol axes: Staromikhailovka, Alexandrovka, Zhabichevo, Trudovskaya Colliery, the Volvo Centre area, Kashtanovoye, Gagarin Colliery, 6/7 Colliery, Ozeryanovka, Zaitsevo and the Kominternovo village outskirts.
Damage was caused to three houses and school No 67 in Donetsk's Kuibyshevskiy district.
On Thursday morning, Ukrainian army units delivered a massive strike at the western outskirts of Donetsk. Two houses and a utility shed were damaged in Staromikhailovka as the enemy fired more than 140 rounds of ammunition at the settlement.*jk
