Donetsk, Feb 21 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 16 times over the past 24 hours firing 65 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory,  the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Friday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 16 times expending 65 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.

Strikes were delivered at the areas of the Dolomitnoye and Gagarin Colliery settlements (Gorlovka axis), the Volvo Centre, the outskirts of the Spartak village, the Staromikhailovka settlement, the Vasilyevka village outside Yasinovataya (Donetsk axis), and the Kominternovo, Leninskoye, Sakhanka and Sosnovskoye villages (Mariupol axis), the JCCC said.

Three houses were damaged in Staromikhailovka in western Donetsk and one in Gorlovka suburbs, the JCCC said.

The enemy used 82mm and mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 16 times firing more than 80 rounds at DPR areas.*jk
