Donetsk, Feb 4 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire seven times over the past 24 hours firing nearly 30 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory,  the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire seven times expending 29 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.

Strikes were delivered at the areas of the Donetsk airport and the Volvo Centre, the Zhabichevo and Staromikhailovka settlements and the outskirts of the Spartak village (Donetsk axis) and the Golmosvskiy and Shirokaya Balka areas (Gorlovka axis), the JCCC said.

The enemy used 82mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

Earlier reports said two houses had been damaged in Donetsk outskirts in shelling by Ukrainian forces.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army units fired some 50 rounds of ammunition at the DPR territory in six ceasefire violations.*jk
