Donetsk, Oct 5 — DAN. Ukraine has lost more than 90,000 servicemen and more than 500 tanks since the beginning of the so-called counteroffensive, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a session of the Valdai Discussion Club on Thursday.
“Ukrainian units’ losses since June 4 have amounted to more than 90,000 people wounded or killed, 557 tanks and almost 1,900 armored vehicles of different types, ” Putin said.
Russia has an understanding of what it has to do, “we’re calmly moving toward our goals and I’m confident that we’ll accomplish them, ” he added. *jk
