Donetsk, Sep 22 - DAN. Ukrainian army units opened fire at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory twice over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire twice expending four rounds of ammunition,” the report said.

On Monday morning, Ukrainian forces fired at the Zaichenko and Leninskoye villages areas in southern DPR. According to the DPR militia’s information, fire was delivered to interfere with the work of an OSCE patrol.

On Monday afternoon, Ukrainian servicemen used a drone to drop ammunition in the Grigorovka village area next to the contact line in the south of the DPR. At 11:30, observers recorded engineer works by Ukrainian armed formations at positions near the Kiev-controlled Vodyanoye village in violation of the additional ceasefire control measures.

The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of any weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
