Donetsk, Oct 22 - DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire four times over the past 24 hours, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Thursday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire four times expending 11 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.
The Trudovskaya and Mineralnoye settlements on the Donetsk axis and the outskirts of the Leninskoye village on the Mariupol axis came under fire. The enemy used smalls arms and grenade launchers (AGS, SPG and RPG), the JCCC said.
On top of that, Ukrainian forces violated the Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire in Donbass. A Ukrainian drone was sighted in the Petrovskoye-Bogdanovka security area, and an explosion occurred next to the Ukraine-controlled Vodyanoye village.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire three times.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of any weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
