Donetsk, Jul 6 - DAN. Ukrainian forces opened fire at the Donetsk People’s Republic on the Donetsk and Mariupol axes over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire five times expending 13 rounds of ammunition (the amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics - eds Donetsk News Agency),” the report said.

Strikes were delivered at the Vesyoloye village area on the Donetsk axis and the outskirts of the Grigorovka, Leninskoye, Staromaryevka and Tavricheskoye villages on the Mariupol axis. The enemy used anti-tank guided missiles, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms, the JCCC said.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire six times.

The package of tighter ceasefire control measures has been in effect in Donbass since July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
