Donetsk, Oct 29 - DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 18 times over the past 24 hours, head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 18 times expending 53 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.

Strikes were delivered at Alexandrovka, Staromikhailovka, Yasinovataya and Trudovskaya Colliery (Donetsk axis), Golmovskiy, Zaitsevo, Shirokaya Balka and Gagarin Colliery (Gorlovka axis) and Dokuchayevsk, Petrovskoye, Leninskoye and Sakhanka (Mariupol axis), he added.

Shelling damage to apartment windows was recorded at 5 Shashurin Street in Gorlovka's Gagarin Colliery neighbourhood.

The enemy used 82mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, anti-aircraft guns, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces fired more than 120 rounds of ammunition at DPR areas.*jk
