Donetsk, Feb 4 - DAN. Kiev army units have opened fire at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory three times over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Thursday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire three times expending seven rounds of ammunition,” the report said.

Fire was delivered at Luganskoye village area in western Donetsk and the outskirts of the Sakhanka and Novaya Tavriya villages in the south of the Republic, the JCCC said. The enemy used infantry fighting vehicle cannons, and grenade launchers (RPG, SPG and AGS). The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces fired 40 rounds of ammunition at DPR areas in six ceasefire violations.

The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
