Donetsk, Feb 18 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire on the contact line with the Donetsk People’s Republic six times over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Thursday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the indefinite ceasefire six times expending 76 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.
Fire was delivered at the areas of the Signalnoye and Luganskoye villages and the Shakhta Abakumova settlement on the Donetsk axis and the Kominternovo and Leninskoye villages on the Mariupol axis. The enemy employed 82mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons and grenade launchers.
Reports on Wednesday said that a house in the Staromikhailovka settlement was damaged in a Ukrainian army strike.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire once firing eight rounds at the DPR territory.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
