Donetsk, Jul 11 — DAN. Ukrainian forces fired more than 100 shells on the DPR on Monday. DAN presents its evening news summary.

Fighting and victims

The enemy used artillery, tanks and mortars including 155 mm NATO systems, to target Donetsk, Yasinovataya, and neighbouring townships.

About 19,000 customers in Donetsk are without power following the shelling. 

Ukrainian forces fired US-made HIMARS rockets on Stepano-Krynka in the DPR on July 10, today the death toll was revealed: 3 people died, and 39 sustained injuries, all of them are volunteers delivering humanitarian aid.

The situation in the 25th Ukrainian airborne brigade active in the area of Seversk is critical. The brigade’s command purposefully misinforms families of their killed service members, listing the deceased as missing in action or deserters.

The Russia-led coalition has established control of the village of Grigorovka outside Seversk.

Restoration efforts

Construction workers from the Krasnodar Krai, the Chelyabinsk Oblast and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug began to restore Volnovacha houses and public facilities damaged in the fighting. 

The arrival of builders from other regions of Russia is expected. In the near future, 50 multi-apartment buildings and 24 public facilities will be restored in the city.

The Donbass Post launched 43 stationary and 13 mobile post offices in the liberated territories, serving about 200 townships. 

The suburban Mariupol — Volnovakha train route was launched today. The new connection will run twice a day, the travel time is three hours. The ticket is 27 roubles.

Society

The head of the DPR Denis Pushilin established the Day of Memory of Children Victims of the War in the Donbass on July 27.

The communal enterprise of the Donetsk administration “Donelektroavtotrans” launched a series of tickets dedicated to the liberated territories of the Republic. The first two new tickets are dedicated to Mariupol and Volnovacha. *ot
