Donetsk, Jun 28 – DAN. Journalists of two news agencies came under Ukrainian fire on Thursday evening in western Donetsk, said the head of the DPR People's Militia command press service Daniil Bezsonov.
“News Front, Ria Novosti correspondents and reporters of the DPR People’s Militia were reporting on the damage caused to Alexandrovka by Ukrainian shelling. As they were present at 51 Shevchenko street Ukrainian gunmen of the 24th brigade targeted the area one more time. The reporters took to shelter along with locals in a house previously damaged by Kiev’s attack,” the statement reads.
At the same time the 53rd brigade targeted Gorlovka outskirts with incendiary ammunition. The attack has been recorded by the DPR People's Militia correspondent Dmitriy Astrakhan.
“Ukrainian armed formation were aware of journalists’ presence. Nevertheless, the have not stopped shelling, but instead intensified attacks on residential areas.”*ot
