Donetsk, Apr 18 – DAN. Ukrainian army units expended almost 900 rounds targeting DPR territory in the past 24 hours, violating the ceasefire 27 times, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.

“As of April 18, Ukrainian armed forces violated the ceasefire 27 times, firing 865 rounds," he said.

He said the enemy targeted western Donetsk, Yasinovataya outskirts, Spartak, Vasilyevka, Zhabichevo, Yakovlevka, Krutaya Balka, Dokuchayevsk, Petrovskoye, Zaitsevo, Dolomitnoye, Ozeryanovka, Shirokaya Balka, Leninskoye and Kominternovo.

The enemy used 122mm artillery, tank guns, heavy mortars, anti-tank guided missiles, grenade launchers and other arms.

The previous day, four residential houses were damaged in Gorlovka by Kiev's shelling.

Despite the ceasefire announced in Donbass, Kiev forces opened intense fire on western and norther Donetsk on April 11, dramatically deterioration the security situation. Seven civilians have been injured, while the number of shelling incidents keeps growing.

On Tuesday, 35 violations by the Kiev's side were reported; the enemy expended 895 rounds including artillery 152mm rounds. *ot
