Donetsk, Apr 11 – DAN. Ukrainian army units expended almost 600 rounds targeting DPR territory in the past 24 hours, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.
“As of 6.00 a.m. April 11, Ukrainian armed forces violated the ceasefire 28 times, firing 587 rounds," he said.
Fire was opened on Donetsk outskirts, Dokuchayevsk and southern villages. The enemy used mortars, grenade launchers, IFVs and APCs. Preliminary reports say 12 buildings have been damaged on Donetsk outskirts.
Kiev forces have carried out mortar and artillery strikes on Donetsk outskirts and the Spartak village this morning.
The Easter ceasefire initiated by the DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko was supported by the Contact Group members and came into force at midnight March 30. The Ukrainian side violated it at 9.35 a.m. by targeting Kominternovo with mortar rounds. *ot
