Donetsk, Nov 13 – DAN. Ukrainian army units expended almost 1,500 rounds this week targeting DPR, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.

“Overall, Ukrainian army units expended 1,490 rounds or 18 tons of ammunition from November 6 to November 13 targeting the Republic's territory," he said.

The JCCC said the enemy violated the 'school ceasefire' 2,553 times since the new truce came into force on August 25. Five civilians have been killed, 17 injured, over a hundred of buildings have been damaged.

The sides agreed to a ‘school ceasefire’ as the new academic year was to begin in Donbass on September 1. It came into force at midnight August 25. It has not proved to be durable, thought in the first hours the security situation along the contact line stabilized. *ot
