JCCC: Ukrainian forces shell DPR with almost 70 rounds in 24 hours

Donetsk, Jul 6 – DAN. Ukrainian army units expended almost 70 shells targeting DPR territory in the past 24 hours, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.

“Ukrainian armed forces fired 67 rounds. The number of ceasefire violations is five," he said.

He said the fire was opened on Yasinovataya, Dokuchayevsk, Gorlovka and Kominternovo.

The “Harvest Сeasefire” coordinated by the Contact Group in Minsk, came into effect in Donbass at midnight July 1. Nine hours into the silence regime, Kiev troops shelled Dokuchayevsk; a total of 57 rounds were fired on the first day of the silence regime. A DPR supply truck was destroyed, its driver was taken to hospital in critical condition.  *ot
