Donetsk, Apr 8 – DAN. The Ukrainian armed forces violated the ceasefire six times in 24 hours firing 40 rounds at the Donetsk People’s Republic, head of the DPR Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said.
“Over the past 24 hours the enemy violated the ceasefire six times, firing 41 shells,” Yakubov said.
Mikhailovka, Yasinovataya, Krutaya Balka, Oktyabr and Sakhanka were targeted with 82 mm and 120 mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms including of large caliber.
In the previous reporting period, Kiev forces fired almost 200 rounds.
The rounds under 12.7 mm caliber are excluded from daily reports.
A new recommitment to the ceasefire in Donbass has come into force on Friday, 1.01 a.m. GMT +3, after the security working group of the Contact Group had agreed to it on the previous day. At 1.05 a.m. Kiev forces opened 120 mm mortar fire on Alexandrovka, western Donetsk. *ot
