Donetsk, Apr 5 – DAN. Officers of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) and the OSCE SMM monitors came under Ukrainian forces fire in Yasinovataya area, in vicinity of Donetsk water treatment plant (DFS), said DPR Operations Command representative.
"At 9.05 a.m. members of the OSCE mission and of JCCC Russian side, as well as repair teams came under mortar fire in vicinity of DFS. "
A mining clearance team also was shelled as it was going to DFS to search the area before the station was launched.
"Ukrainian side makes efforts to disrupt repairs of the water plant," the Operations Command said.
On March 29 the plant suffered a blackout as a result of Ukrainian forces shelling which damaged a power substation feeding DFS. Yesterday the power supply was restored, and today the plant was to be put back into operation. *ot
