Donetsk, May 6 – DAN. The Ukrainian army intensified shelling sevenfold firing over 300 rounds at the DPR, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.
"Over the past 24 hours the enemy violated the ceasefire seven times firing 318 shells,” Yakubov said.
Yasinovataya, Mineralnoye, Golmovskiy, Elenovka, Oktyabr, Kominternovo, Sakhanka were targeted with mortars, IFVs, APCs, grenade launchers and small arms.
The rounds under 12.7 mm caliber are excluded from daily reports.
Earlier reports said that a civilian had been injured in Elenovka as a result of Ukrainian shelling. Two outhouses have sustained damage, as well as a house in Golmovskiy.
Over the previous day, the number of Ukrainian shells fired amounted to 46.
A new recommitment to the ceasefire in Donbass has come into force on Friday, 1.01 a.m. GMT +3, after the security working group of the Contact Group had agreed to it on the previous day. At 1.05 a.m. Kiev forces opened 120 mm mortar fire on Alexandrovka, western Donetsk. *ot
