Donetsk, Apr 12 – DAN. The Ukrainian armed forces violated the ceasefire 15 times in 24 hours firing 206 rounds at the Donetsk People’s Republic, head of the DPR Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said.
“Over the past 24 hours the enemy violated the ceasefire 15 times firing 206 shells,” Yakubov said.
Donetsk airport area, Zhabichevo, Shakhta Trudovskaya, Aleksandrovka, Staromikhailovka, Golmovskiy, Dolomitnoye, Yasinovataya, Vasylievka, Dokuchaevsk and Ukrainskoye were targeted with 82 mm and 120 mm mortars, IFVs and APCs, anti-aircraft guns, grenade launchers and small arms of large caliber.
This morning, Ukrainian forces opened fire on Gorlovka damaging Golmovskiy treatment facilities and leaving over 3,000 customers without power.
In the evening, a house in Golmovskiy sustained damage as a result of Kiev's fire.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 11 times, firing over 100 rounds.The rounds under 12.7 mm caliber are excluded from daily reports.
A new recommitment to the ceasefire in Donbass has come into force on Friday, 1.01 a.m. GMT +3, after the security working group of the Contact Group had agreed to it on the previous day. At 1.05 a.m. Kiev forces opened 120 mm mortar fire on Alexandrovka, western Donetsk. *ot
