JCCC: Kiev forces expend 500 shells in a week targeting DPR

Donetsk, Jul 9 – DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 50 times over the past week, expending almost 500 shells, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.

“From July 2 to July 8 the enemy violated the ceasefire 50 times firing 468 shells, or 0.23 tons or 4.6 ammo boxes."

Ukrainian army used 120mm and 82mm mortars; four houses were damaged.

The “Harvest Сeasefire” coordinated by the Contact Group in Minsk, came into effect in Donbass at midnight. Nine hours into the silence regime, Kiev troops shelled Dokuchayevsk. Later a DPR supply truck was destroyed, its driver was taken to hospital in critical condition.  *ot
