JCCC dismisses allegations of shelling from DPR positions

Donetsk, Mar 30 – DAN. The JCCC has dismissed claims that DPR forces violated the Easter ceasefire, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.

"Despite DPR troops strictly observing the order on maintaining the Easter ceasefire, the so-called 'ATO' HQ is alleging that shelling took place at 0:10 a.m. from the DPR postions," he said.

The JCCC emphasized that Kiev shows its inclination to the destabilization of the situation by publishing such allegations.

The Easter ceasefire initiated by the DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko was supported by the Contact Group members and came into force at midnight March 30. The Ukrainian side violated it at 9.35 a.m. by targeting Kominternovo with mortar rounds. *ot
