Donetsk, May 19 — DAN. Ukrainian gunmen have opened fire at the Donetsk People’s Republic twice overnight to Friday targeting the center of the DPR capital and its northwest.

The enemy used missile artillery to deliver the strikes. In the Voroshilovsky district, six apartment buildings, a supermarket, a gas pipe and eight cars were damaged.  A woman was wounded in Prospekt Mira Street.

Donetsk’s Kuibyshevsky district also came under fire. No casualties or damage were immediately reported.

Ukrainian forces have shelled the DPR 44 times over the past 24 hours using missile and cannon artillery. One civilian has been killed and another three have been wounded, and two dozen homes and infrastructure facilities have been damaged.
