Donetsk, Apr 23 – DAN. Gorlovka has come under a massive artillery and mortar attack early morning on Friday, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.

The JCCC said that the attack began at 7.15 a.m. as the Shakhta 6/7 township was targeted with six artillery rounds of 152 mm, and 21 rounds of 120 mm caliber.

Half an hour later, the Shakhta Gagarina township was hit with six rounds of 82 mm and 120 mm caliber.

All the attempts to reinstall the ceasefire through the coordination mechanism failed as Ukrainian ignored the requests.

The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”. The package came into effect on July 27. *ot
