Donetsk, Mar 1 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations’ strikes at the Donetsk People’s Republic have left four civilians dead on Tuesday, DPR People’s Militia deputy commander Eduard Basurin said.

“We have civilian casualties as a result of Ukrainian aggression: four people have been killed and 23 have been wounded including a 10-year-old child,” Basurin said.

Seventy-three houses and 14 infrastructure facilities were damaged in the designated period, including education centers, hospitals and electrical substations. “More than 106,000 customers were left without electricity,” he added.

The Donbass conflict sharply escalated in mid-February. To save people’s lives, the DPR authorities launched mass evacuation of DPR residents to Russia. At present, a joint operation with Russia is underway to free the Republic’s areas. *jk
