Donetsk, Mar 9 – DAN. Five houses were damaged or destroyed by Ukrainian shelling in Yasinovataya, Gorlovka, Elenovka, local administrations officials told Donetsk News Agency.

“Yesterday, at 6:20 p.m. the roof and windows of a residential house in Kashtanovoye neighborhood outside Yasinovataya sustained shelling damage. The house owner, a 73-year-old woman, was not hurt,” acting Yasinovataya administration head Oleg Morgun said.

Krutaya Balka village came under Ukrainian forces fire yesterday as well; two unexploded artillery rounds were found in Shirokaya Street. An Emergencies Ministry team arrived at the UXO site.

Elenovka village head Igor Syakerin reported shelling by Ukrainian forces. “Today, at 6 a.m., a multi-story residential house in Depovskaya Street sustained damage; its wall was partially destroyed and windows smashed".

Ukrainian forces also shelled Gorlovka and its northern Zaitsevo neighborhood overnight. Three houses were destroyed by direct hits and a power transmission line was damaged, local administration head Ivan Prihod’ko told DAN. *jk
