Donetsk, Dec 13 — DAN. Ukrainian armed formations shelled the Donetsk People’s Republic 43 times in the period from 06:00, December 12 to 06:00, December 13, the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.
The enemy fired 195 rounds of ammunition at Donetsk, Makeyevka, Yasinovataya, Gorlovka and their suburbs using “Grad” multiple rocket launchers, 155mm, 152mm and 122mm artillery and mortars, the JCCC said.
Five civilians were killed and another four were wounded, and 48 infrastructure facilities were damaged in artillery attacks. In Gorlovka, a section of an apartment building collapsed and in Donetsk, the shelling damaged several apartment buildings, a gas pipe and kiosks next to a petrol station in the center of the city.
The Rodina Hotel and a building of the Stirol chemical company in Gorlovka were damaged overnight to Tuesday.
In the previous 24-hour period, the enemy fired 235 rounds of ammunition at the DPR wounding nine civilians.*jk
