Donetsk, May 30- DAN. Russia-led coalition has taken full control of Dibrova and Staryi Karavan in northern DPR, south-west of Krasnyi Liman liberated dearlier, the DPR Territorial Defense HQ said.

"As of May 30, the group of DPR and LPR forces with fire support of Russian armed forces have liberated and established full control of 222 townships and towns, including Dibrova and Staryi Karavan," the report reads.

The coalition is advancing towards Slavyansk, an important industrial and transport hub, and also a mud therapy centre. Prior to the armed conflict, its population amounted to 107 thousand people. 
Ukrainian forces have established a well-protected foothold in Slavyansk and neighbouring Kramatorsk. 

Krasnyi Liman is located in the north of the DPR, and is part of Kramatorsk metropolitan area. The town of Krasnyi Liman is an important railway hub. Its population is estimated at 20,500 people. The Coalition started the assault of the town on May 24, and Ukrainian forces left the area after two days of heavy fighting.

Russia began its special military operation to defend the Republics pf Donbass on February 24. DPR forces have first liberated southern areas, and are currently liberating the north of the country. *ot
