Donetsk, Dec 17 - DAN. Ukrainian forces fired 120mm mortars at the Leninskoye village area in the south of the Donetsk People’s Republic on Thursday morning, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported.
“At 08:30, Ukrainian armed formations opened fire at the Leninskoye village expending ten 120mm mortar rounds,” the report said.
Fire was delivered from the Ukraine-controlled Vodyanoye village, the JCCC said.
No damage or casualties were immediately reported.
Earlier reports said that a massive strike had been delivered at the Kominternovo village area at night.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
