The Donetsk People’s Republic parliament plans to introduce homeroom periods at schools with the participation of servicemen who are taking part in the special military operation, chairman of the parliament committee on physical culture, sports and tourism Vladimir Chekun said on Thursday.
“We’re finalizing the law on patriotic education; in the Soviet era, war veterans used to come to schools to share their military experience, ” Chekun told the Donetsk News Agency. “We want to invite special operation participants to schools where they can tell their stories.”
Chekun earlier said that the parliament committee he headed would be helping the children of special military operation participants and pupils at DPR boarding schools.*jk
