Donetsk, June 2 - DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic and Russian servicemen have repelled Ukrainian gunmen’s attack in the Sladkoye settlement area several kilometers northwest of Dokuchayevsk, DPR People’s Militia deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Thursday.
“Servicemen of the Donetsk People’s Republic and Russian armed forces jointly rebuffed an enemy attack in the Sladkoye settlement area, which was launched from the direction of the Novomikhailovka village,” Basurin said.
The enemy losses amounted up to 15 gunmen and two infantry fighting vehicles; two fire emplacements were destroyed by a massive strike in the Maryinka area (west of Donetsk - eds Donetsk News Agency). The enemy retreated while suffering considerable casualties, he added.
Earlier, the coalition forces rebuffed a Ukrainian attack outside Ugledar.*jk
