Donetsk, Sep 28 – DAN. Kiev forces shelled frontline DPR territories 204 times over 24 hours, a DPR military official said.
"The situation in DPR has escalated. Kiev forces shelled frontline DPR territories 204 times over 24 hours, using tanks, mortars, infantry fighting vehicles (IFV), grenade launchers and small arms," said deputy commander of DPR Operations Command Colonel Eduard Basurin.
According to the Command’s data, the enemy fired 32 120mm and 82mm mortar rounds and its tanks fired at Yasinovataya and Spartak, Krutaya Balka villages in the vicinity. Signalnoye and Aleksandrovka villages and Petrovsky district of DPR capital were hit with 12 120mm and 82mm mortar rounds. Six 120mm mortar rounds were fired at Sakhanka village in the south of DPR. Zaitsevo, Shirokaya Balka, Krasniy Partizan in the proximity of Gorlovka and also Dokuchaevsk were hit with IFV guns, grenade launchers and small arms.
DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko ordered republican forces to maintain comprehensive unconditional ceasefire as of midnight September, 14/15. He reiterated that DPR kept truce before as well in accordance with agreement brokered by the Contact Group in late August.
