Donetsk, Apr 9 – DAN. DPR forces repel an attack by Ukrainian army launched on the Easter day outside Gorlovka, said DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin.
"A Ukrainian reconnaissance squad attacked DPR positions yesterday at 7.30 p.m. on Gorlovka axis, outside Zaitsevo, to capture our soldier. The attack was repelled."
Preliminary reports said two Ukrainian soldiers died, four were injured.
"Unfortunately, two DPR defenders died during the clash," Basurin said.
DPR Command reported Ukrainian saboteurs of the 8th special task regiment arriving to Gorlovka neighborhood. According to the DPR intelligence, the squad was tasked with perpetrating saboteur acts in the DPR. *ot
