Donetsk, May 20 – DAN. DPR People's Militia has been put on full combat alert following DPR Head Denis Pushilin's order, said DPR People's Militia deputy chief-of-staff Eduard Basurin.
"Today, in accordance with the decree of the Commander-In-Chief DPR People's Militia has been put on full combat alert," the defense's press statement reads.
Units operate with round-the-clock security and defense of garrisons, strategic objects, HQ; additional OPs were pulled in, patrols were organized. Troops engaged in military drills were ordered back to garrisons; personnel on leave were recalled from leaves and missions; equipment and vehicles stowed.
Basurin said that DPR stands ready to withstand any attacks of Ukrainian aggressors.
Earlier Pushilin ordered to bring People's Militia units to high alert in response to Ukrainian attacks that killed civilian woman and injured 11 people, including five children. *ot
