Donetsk, Oct 4 – DAN. DPR Prosecutor General’s Office is preparing to bring criminal charges against Ukrainian commanders as accomplices to shelling the Republic's territory, a representative of the Office told DAN.

"We have case files concerning the shellings, evidence gathering is ongoing. I believe criminal charges soon will be brought against Ukrainian armed forces commanders who orchestrated shellings of DPR frontline populated areas," the official said.

Prosecutor General’s Office filed "dozens of cases over frontline areas shellings from Ukrainian side." For instance, the investigation is on into a passenger bus destroyed by a Ukrainian landmine near Volnovakha in Jan, 2015, and Ukrainian armed forces opening fire at the House of Culture in Donetsk Kuibyshevskiy district.
