Donetsk, Mar 22 - DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire three times over the past 24 hours, the Donetsk People's Republic Operations Command said on Thursday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire nine times using 82mm and 120mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and small arms,” an Operations Command representative said.

Three DPR settlements came under Ukrainian army units fire, he added.

According to the DPR Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination, Ukrainian forces shelled the Leninskoye and Sakhanka villages in the DPR south on Wednesday evening.

“At 6:50 p.m., Ukrainian army units opened fire towards Leninskoye and Sakhanka with 120mm and 82mm mortars and grenade launchers,” head of the DPR Mission Ruslan Yakubov said.

A comprehensive, durable and indefinite ceasefire came into effect in Donbass on March 5. The truce was brokered by the Minsk talks participants on March 2.*jk
