Donetsk, Aug 2 - DAN. The orders to shell the Donetsk People’s Republic on the Donetsk, Gorlovka and Mariupol axes in the past 24 hours were issued by Ukrainian army brigade commanders Ruslan Tatus, Valeriy Gudz, Maxim Marchenko and Andrey Gnatov, DPR Operations Command spokesman Daniil Bezsonov said on Thursday citing intelligence reports.
“On the Gorlovka axis, gunmen from the 72nd separate mechanised brigade commanded by war criminal Tatus delivered grenade launcher fire at the Dolomitnoye settlement area,” Bezsonov said. “Thirty-six automatic grenade launcher (AGS) and anti-tank rocket-propelled grenade launcher (RPG) rounds were fired at the Gagarin colliery settlement from positions of the 24th brigade; the order to open fire was given by Gudz.”
On the Donetsk axis, gunmen of the 28th separate mechanised brigade commander by Marchenko fired grenade launchers and small arms at the Luganskoye village south of Donetsk. Kominternovo, located in southern DPR, was shelled at the order of 36th separate marines brigade commander Gnatov.
Earlier reports said Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire three times over the past 24 hours firing 123 rounds at the DPR territory. One DPR serviceman was killed and five houses were damaged in the strikes.*jk
