Donetsk, May 11 - DAN. A Donetsk People’s Republic militiaman has been killed and his two colleagues have been wounded in shelling by Ukrainian armed formation, the DPR People’s Militia reported.
Earlier reports said that Ukrainian forces had fired mortars and missiles at the Krasny Partizan settlement area outside Yasinovataya.
“We regret to inform that a defender of our Republic has been killed and another two have been wounded in targeted fire. We convey our heartfelt condolences to the family of the fallen serviceman,” the DPR People’s Militia said.
The report said that DPR militia units had returned fire to supress enemy activity. Ukrainian armed formations' casualties were not immediatley known.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
